MBA first-year students of SLIBM participated in a Seminar by Mr. Syed Nadeem Jafri, Founder & Chief Mentor of Hearty Mart (Supermarket Chain in Rural Gujarat) which was a part of The Red Brick Summit organized by IIM-Ahmedabad on 1st October 2019. He shared that the supermarket was launched after a lot of research with the local communities which worked out to be an interesting communication theme for the market. The students got to know about his life story, his journey of success and failure and the qualities required to be an entrepreneur.
He shared that if any entrepreneur is ready to work hard, he/she can fight big brands and create his own space in the market.
From the seminar, the students understood that, it is not necessary to have a degree from top B-Schools like IIM, but need to be ready to work hard, have patience and motivation.
