PG Research Centre for Financial Services (CFS) of GTU organized an International Conference on ‘Ease of Doing Business: Contemporary Issues, Challenges and Future Scope’ on 9th & 10th October, 2015. Director of the Institute Dr. J.P.Joshipura has played very pivotal role in conceptualizing the conference and making it memorable and successful. He has also conveyed Vote Of Thanks to the speakers. Various research papers were presented at the conference. Dr. Supriya Bhutiani- Faculty from the Institute and MBA Program Coordinator at the institute very gracefully hosted the Inaugural and Valedictory Session at the conference. Students from the Institute also zealously attended the conference and listened to the valuable speakers.
Two Finance Faculties from the Institute Dr. Riddhi Dave and Ms. Reshmi Banerjee had jointly written and presented paper for the conference titled, “3 Fs OF MSMEs: A HOLISTIC STUDY OF FOUNDATION, FUNCTIONS AND FUTURE OF MSMES OF GUJARAT – WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO VARIOUS GOVERNMENT INCENTIVES AND SCHEMES”. The Institute is very pleased as the paper written by these faculties received the “Best Paper Award” in the Medal Achiever Category. This is really a matter of pride for the Institute as the conference has received more than 140 Research Papers and out of them eight were selected as Best Papers including the one by these two faculties of the Institute. The paper written by these faculties is published in the book, “Ease of Doing Business: Contemporary Issues, Challenges and Future Scope” ISBN-978-93-5254-009-9. The winning faculties sincerely thanked the Management and the Director of Institute for boosting their morale and for encouraging and guiding them for partaking in the Conference.
