Somlalit Institute of Management Studies organized an expert session titled “Union Budget: The Story Behind the Numbers” on 6th February 2026 with the objective of enhancing students’ understanding of the Union Budget and its practical implications on the economy, businesses, and citizens.
The session was conducted by a distinguished finance expert Mr. Siddharth Bhatt, who provided deep insights into the structure of the Union Budget, key announcements, fiscal policies, and their short-term as well as long-term economic impacts. MBA 2nd semester students of Somlalit Institute of Management Studies actively participated in the expert session with great enthusiasm and keen interest, making the event highly interactive and engaging. The expert explained complex budgetary concepts in a simplified manner, enabling students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world financial and economic scenarios.
