We are pleased to share that our Faculty Dr. Riddhi Dave, Professor at SomLalit Institute of Management Studies has authored a book titled Hands on Data Analysis with PYTHON (A USER-MANAGER PERSPECTIVE), published by Vikas Publishing House, a reputed academic publisher.
Python has emerged as a powerful open-source tool for data analysis and visualization. However, for many non-programmers, the very mention of Python can seem intimidating. While managers and decision-makers increasingly recognise the importance of data-driven decision-making, many feel that data analysis and visualization are beyond their reach because they do not have a programming background.
The book: Hands on Data Analysis with PYTHON (A USER-MANAGER PERSPECTIVE) seeks to bridge this gap by making Python-based data analysis more accessible to managers, leaders, and other non-programming professionals. The book introduces readers to the practical use of Python’s prominent libraries and their built-in functions for analysing and visualising data, without requiring them to become programmers.
Using real-life illustrations and practical situations faced by managers and decision-makers, the book focuses on understanding and application rather than memorisation of code. It aims to help readers develop the confidence to work with data, generate meaningful insights, and use those insights to support better decision-making.
