Prof. Reshmi Banerjee is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Som-Lalit Institute of Business Management in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She holds an MBA in finance and is presently pursuing her PhD in Management at GLS University in Ahmedabad. She has ten years of academic experience and three years of industry experience with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, one of the Big 4. Her area of interests includes MSMEs, women entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurship. She is in charge of instructing students in a variety of accounting and finance disciplines, including Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Financial Derivatives. She has presented and published a number of research papers in renowned national and international conferences and journals. Additionally, she has presented her work at conferences held by the IIM Ahmedabad and the IIT Mumbai. She is three times winner of Best Paper Award at the International Finance Conference, CCFS, Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) in the year 2014, 2015 and 2016. She is a good listener and an excellent motivator with sound communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
